The Olytis Study Circle · The First Call
Untying the First KnotKnow Thyself
An evening of plain-spoken teaching, quiet breath, and good company on the path. Free and open: a voice call, with optional slides. Just pick up the phone, or join from a computer.
Clocks fall back that morning, so 7:00 PM ET is Eastern Standard Time (4:00 PM PT · midnight UTC).
How to Join
No app, no account, no camera. Any phone will do.
- A few minutes before 7:00 PM ET, dial the number for your country.
- When asked, enter the PIN followed by the # key.
- You'll join quietly. Please keep your phone on mute until it's your turn to speak. You'll be welcomed by name.
- Find a quiet seat. Headphones help. We'll close our eyes together for a short stillness practice.
Prefer a computer? Join from a computer to see the slides, or dial in to just listen. In your browser, open meet.jit.si/OlytisCircle-20261101-ad23. You join muted with your camera off. Full schedule at olytis.com/call.

Teaching: The Knot of the Soul
The knot as an image of the soul through three old lights: the Hermetic as above, so below, the Gnostic divine spark bound in matter, and the Rosicrucian rose blooming on the cross. All three point to one ancient instruction: temet nosce, know thyself.
- 10min
Practice: Stillness
Eyes closed, a slow breath, a quiet voice to follow. Nothing to do but listen along.
- 15min
The Circle
We go around by name, and each of us names one knot we would like to untie this year. Passing is always welcome.
